The Amacon Grandin Master Plan proposal seeks to transform a former strip mall in downtown St. Albert into a vibrant, mixed use community. The renewed Grandin Mall site is intended to serve as a new urban centre for the city.
The development is planned as a walkable, livable community with continuous green spaces throughout the site. A proposed “village centre” that encourages local commerce and gathering places will reinforce the vitality of the neighbourhood. The redevelopment will act as a catalyst for rejuvenation in St. Albert by creating a dynamic new community that will ensure the long-term vitality of the city.
